Terms of Service

1. Operator and scope

QuoteRecon is a software product operated by LUNE PC FZ LLC, licensed by Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), trade licence 5039417. QuoteRecon is not a separately registered company. Our registered address is VUNE2207, Compass Building, Al Hulaila Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Contact hello@quoterecon.com.

These Terms govern your use of the QuoteRecon website and subscription software. Paid transactions are made through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record and are also subject to the terms presented through its checkout.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a contract and authorized to act for any organization whose documents you use. Keep your account information accurate, protect your QuoteRecon login credentials and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity authorized through your account.

Do not share access in a way that bypasses account or usage restrictions. An organization using QuoteRecon is responsible for deciding who may use its account and documents.

3. The service

QuoteRecon compares a reference document with a supplier quotation. It identifies paired items and potential changes, missing or extra items, exclusions and price differences, and presents source evidence and saved reports. Supported source formats are PDF, XLSX, XLS and CSV, subject to the formats and upload limits displayed in the product. Scanned or image-only PDFs are not supported by the current text extraction workflow.

QuoteRecon provides standardized software, not engineering advice, procurement consultancy, professional certification or approval of a quotation. Optional AI explanations are separate from QuoteRecon’s comparison and revision engines.

Eligible PRO customers may initiate Review with AI for a comparison overview, quotation-revision overview, finding explanation or supplier clarification draft. AI assistance is optional and advisory. It does not change the uploaded documents, original evidence, pairing decisions, classifications, quantities, prices, totals or revision history. You must check the original evidence before relying on an explanation or using a draft. QuoteRecon never sends a supplier message automatically.

4. Your documents and confidentiality

You retain ownership of your uploaded documents. You authorize us to store, extract, compare and display them and their derived results as needed to provide and support the service, protect it and meet applicable legal obligations.

You must have permission to upload the documents and any personal data or commercially confidential information they contain. Upload only information relevant to the comparison. Documents use private application storage and reports are not public share links. We do not use uploaded content for public marketing.

5. Review before relying on findings

Results can be incomplete or incorrect because of source layout, missing text, ambiguous descriptions, extraction limits or item pairing. Check the reference and supplier pairing and the cited source evidence. Review quantities, units, specifications, prices, exclusions and items marked for review before making a decision.

A successful comparison or clean matched result does not guarantee that every contractual, commercial or technical discrepancy was found. Use appropriate professional judgment and independent review for purchasing, tendering, engineering, contractual and safety-related decisions.

6. Plans and fair usage

Free provides 3 chargeable comparisons per week. Pro provides 25 chargeable comparisons per week. Allowances reset each Monday at 00:00 UTC. Monthly and Yearly describe payment cadence, not allowance reset cadence. Current advertised Pro prices are US$4.99 per month or US$44.99 per year. Applicable checkout totals and taxes are shown by Lemon Squeezy.

A comparison is chargeable only after successful processing and persistence with at least one matched or review-required paired result. Failed uploads, failed extraction, incomplete or failed comparisons, and results with no matched or review-required pairs do not consume an allowance unit. Viewing reports and exporting Excel do not consume units.

Recomputing an already counted comparison does not charge again. An exact Reference and Quotation content pair that previously consumed usage for the same account does not consume another unit. Document roles remain significant, and matching filenames alone do not establish exact reuse. Deleting the account and its document history removes that account’s exact-pair recognition.

Allowance restrictions are enforced on the server. Reaching a limit can prevent new processing even when the eventual result might be nonchargeable. Existing reports remain available while the account remains available. Do not automate excessive requests or use multiple accounts to evade restrictions.

PRO Monthly and PRO Yearly each include 100 successful AI reviews per account per calendar month, separate from the 25 weekly comparisons. AI reviews reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month. Each successful new explanation, overview or clarification redraft consumes one AI review. Reopening a saved current result, editing it locally and choosing Save draft do not consume another review. Failed, duplicate and indeterminate requests do not consume an additional review.

7. Purchases, renewal and cancellation

Pro subscriptions renew automatically on the selected Monthly or Yearly cadence unless cancelled. Review the plan, renewal terms, taxes and total presented at checkout before purchasing. Use Manage Billing in your Account to access the Lemon Squeezy hosted customer portal. A cancellation recorded through the portal stops the next renewal according to the provider status. Lemon Squeezy’s published portal documentation does not state a separate 48-hour portal deadline. If you instead cancel by contacting Lemon Squeezy under its Buyer Terms, those terms ask you to contact Lemon Squeezy at least 48 hours before the current billing period ends. Act before the renewal date and allow enough time for any support request to be processed.

After cancellation is recorded, QuoteRecon normally preserves Pro access through the provider-recorded paid-through date; an immediate provider expiry or refund may end access sooner. Cancellation does not delete your account, reports or documents and does not reset usage. It does not by itself refund unused time. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests and mandatory rights are handled separately under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

8. Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful material, malicious files or information you are not authorized to process. Do not access another customer’s account or reports, interfere with the service, defeat security or usage controls, or attempt to obtain credentials or private files. We may restrict misuse proportionately, investigate incidents and take steps required by law.

9. Account closure and data requests

Contact hello@quoterecon.com to request account closure or deletion. We will verify your identity or authority before proceeding. There is no public self-service account-deletion interface. Ongoing or unresolved subscriptions require separate attention because account deletion does not cancel billing.

The controlled process removes active application documents, extracted content, results, fingerprints, usage records and customer account information within its scope. Some billing records may be retained for a justified payment, refund, chargeback, reconciliation, accounting or legal purpose. Backups, technical logs, support correspondence and information held independently by service providers follow separate handling procedures.

10. Intellectual property

LUNE PC FZ LLC or its licensors own the software, design and QuoteRecon brand, except for your documents and third-party materials. Your account gives you a limited right to use the service under these Terms, not ownership of the software. Open-source components remain subject to their own licences.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every document or permanent availability of every feature. Maintenance, hosting failures and security incidents can interrupt access. Keep independent copies of important source documents and exported reports.

We may change the service or these Terms. Material changes will be described through an appropriate service, account or contact notice where required, and we will respect applicable rights and existing paid commitments.

AI assistance depends on OpenAI and QuoteRecon safety, availability and spending controls and may be temporarily unavailable or rate limited. Existing reports, source evidence and Excel exports remain governed by their normal terms. AI output may be incomplete or wrong and is not a legal, contractual, technical, financial or professional conclusion. Mandatory customer rights and remedies remain unaffected.

12. Responsibility and mandatory rights

Each party remains responsible for obligations imposed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your obligation to review outputs does not excuse conduct for which we remain legally responsible.

13. Applicable law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates, subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights that apply to you. This does not remove protections that cannot be waived in your place of residence. Contact hello@quoterecon.com to raise a concern.
