PDF to Excel for BOQs

Upload a PDF BOQ or quotation and download a spreadsheet you can work with: one row per item, section headings kept, and the amount as a live formula.

Free: 3 a week, PDFs up to 50 pages. PRO: no weekly limit. Tools never use your comparison allowance.

What you get

  • Items as rows, in reading order, with section headings and the PDF’s own total lines kept.
  • The Amount column as a working Qty × Rate formula, with the PDF’s figure beside it.
  • Rows where the formula and the PDF disagree are highlighted.
  • Everything outside the table on an “Other text” sheet.
  • Lines that look like items but couldn’t be split into columns are flagged, never left out.

The amount is a formula, so changing a quantity or rate updates it.

How it works

  1. Upload the PDF

A BOQ or quotation with selectable text. Free reads up to 50 pages, PRO up to 1,000.

  2. See what was read

QuoteRecon shows how many items it read from the PDF.

  3. Download the workbook

Open it in Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice and keep working.

  • Whole quantities show without a decimal point, and descriptions are kept as text, never as formulas.
  • Your PDF is read once and never stored. Only the result is saved, so you can reopen or delete it.
